ATLANTIC CITY SPORTS COMMISSION PARTNERS WITH SUPER STEELFIT CHAMPIONSHIPS

QUALIFIER WILL TAKE PLACE ON MAY 30

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ (Friday, May 22, 2015) The Atlantic City Sports Commission, powered by Meet AC has partnered with the Super SteelFit Championships for its fourth qualifier event that will take place in Atlantic City.

In its third year, the 2015 Super SteelFit Championships will visit Atlantic City for the first time to host the final Super SteelFit Qualifier at the National Guard Armory on May 30.

“The Atlantic City Sports Commission is continuing to grow and partner with diverse sporting groups and events. The competition will bring in a unique group of athletes and spectators to Atlantic City,” said Jim Wood, President and CEO of Meet AC.

The 2015 Super SteelFit Championships is a series of intense, gritty functional fitness competitions designed to declare the most-fit athlete. Produced by SuperFit Championships, LLC, a professional event marketing & production company, the 2015 event series takes place in New Jersey with qualifiers held around the state. The Super SteelFit Championship Finals will be held in Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey on June 20. In true brash Jersey style, this functional fitness competition challenges experienced fitness competitors yet also inspires introductory fitness enthusiasts. Come and experience what it takes to be crowned the next “Super SteelFit Champion.”

“Our Atlantic City qualifier will be our largest qualifier this year. Visiting one of New Jersey’s premier Jersey Shore destinations is attractive to our competitors,” said Armand Milanesi, Event Founder of the Super SteelFit Championships. “We are thrilled to bring our competition to AC.”

The first heat of the competition will begin at 9:00 a.m. and continue throughout the day. There will be numerous activities for the family, friends and competitors. Super SteelFit Championships will also have Paleo Phenom on-site serving a varied menu throughout the competition and vendors exhibiting their products.
